Nope, not yet

Rather than start another thread, I'd like to say here :

1) I'm not spitefully trying to ruin anyone's business - I LIKE the builder. BUT we all have to accept responsibility for our actions.

2) EVERYTHING within the "problem" posts is 100% factual, with documentary evidence/proof available.

3) I have chosen not to post some properly controversial material, because I'm only 99% sure of what happened, not 100% sure.

4) I tried to be fair in terms of the "faults" report being a "snag" list, stating clearly that the project left the builder unfinished.

5) I'm saddened that those who have contacted and influenced the decision makers to remove the build thread may either have a vested interest or more likely been fibbed to. It is especially frustrating considering they are not directly involved or affected by the project themselves, yet their influence carries weight ? How can that be right ?

6) The individual concerned was advised of, given the opportunity to opt out of and in fact jumped at the prospect of publicity.

I totally understand and completely agree with the need for PH to represent a balanced view, protecting the small business community from spiteful or vexatious complainants. THIS SHOULD CUT BOTH WAYS, or the site is arguably useless as a factual resource, as opposed to purely entertainment.

I'm surprised I was not asked to present proof of my allegations.

It occurs to me that far from this situation arising in the interests of fair and unbiased reporting, the complete opposite has been the result.

What happens if (as) it turns out I AM telling the truth, the whole and nothing but ?

As far as I'm concerned, the other party and myself have agreed within the last 48 hours to continue cooperating with each other. If that's changed, I've not yet been made aware of it.

Did suprise me that your thread lasted as long as it did, and its the reason i never did one for my build as it would have been pulled after day 4 of my first build, let alone the sebsequent 3 odd years of incompetance, poor workmanship denial of responsibility etc etc...I really do feel for you having been there myself.
Hopefully not long now for you thumbup

It's a shame there isn't another forum where complete and uttter freedom of speech exists , I was in the sin bin last night all I wanted is an answer on charge cooling with a bit of banter thrown in, there are some stake holders with an interest

There were a few things I could of posted about the chap who did my original mapping , just annoys me that I had to go through that learning curve and cost me money. After all it's ok for tv to expose poor workman ship !

It's a shame we'll never get to find out what really went on inside your engine. Would you consider PM'ing people with the eventual outcome?

I guess that anyone with a tale that doesn't have an instant happy ending will have to use an alternative means of communication or risk the wrath of Haymarket.

If it turns out that it's all good, accepting the snag list as just that, then i'll be the first to say so

If it's not good, I imagine a brief statement to the effect "unhappy ending" will be acceptable to the Haymarket Legal Team.

Yes, I am prepared to answer direct questions by PM and commit to telling the truth.

Jammy D - what about knocking up your own website/blog.

Then you can set it all out without fear of noses being stuck in where they don't belong.

1 V8 Developments
2 TVR Power
3 John Eales

I honestly thought and continue to think this platform is the right platform.

No vendetta against the builder. Aside from personal expense and inconvenience, I am mostly saddened that an opportunity has been fumbled.

It should've been so very simple : Customer with the will and means to pay for services contracts expert to provide services well within expert's capability. What could possibly go wrong ?!

As I am about to embark on the quest for more power, threads like the deleted one and this are going to be invaluable. As an example, I always thought that numbers 1 and 4 were the same person!

Surely you can't be serious .............. can you?

Why would PH ask you for proof, this has nothing to do with them? In the interest of fairness would they then also be expected to ask the garage for their account of events too? What happens when the two don't match, what would you expect PH to do next?

As others have already suggested, if you feel that strongly about this why not knock up a blog somewhere and anyone interested can follow it - simples.

only in context of them deciding what is "fair" to post and what is not, bearing in mind they saw fit to step in and decide...

Otherwise this is just a site where anyone can post any old crap, as long as its not controversial. Ah, now I think about it, that sums up the site pretty well ;P
