When I read the post title I thought that's not gonna look right but actually it don't look too bad.

Is it a "mock up" or have you had a 5 stud conversion ?

Don't matter how many times i chuck them out, next time i go to the car,

Does this mean an S's hub carriers will accept 5 stud wheel hubs (from Cerbera,Tuscan, etc) without modification?

I suspect hub spacers have been used... Perhaps Briggson could enlighten us. Are these 16x8 ? What offset as std TVR car parts seem to list front and rear as different prob due to offset.

look damn fine btw...

Looks good, i take it by the tyre profile these are 16" spiders. They work really well.

Sorry for the delay in replying guys, my computer developed a terminal illness!!!!! But fear not, I have joined the iPad revolution!

A lot has happened on my journey to fit the Spiders.

Firstly I added a 2 piece adapter to convert from 4 stud into 5 stud pattern in order to accomadate the Spiders. This made the distance between the tyre and wheel arch look far to high, so I added Gaz Gold Pro adjustable shocks.

One job seemed to create another. Now the car was too low and the exhaust beached me on the lowest of speed bumps, forcing me to bring forward the job of replacing to a stainless exhaust system. I was not planning on doing this until next year, but needs must, it was either wait, or only drive on completely flat roads!!!

A friend of mine fabricated a custom stainless system which lifted the ground clearance by a few valuable inches, although still a bit low, it is more than drivable (and now gurgles like a V8!).

Next up is to replace the wing mirrors, and when the money pit fills up a little more, a re-trim will be in order, oh and maybe a respray, oh and maybe a body off chassis restoration. It is perfectly sound, but I'd like a shiny new one!

It's true that we do it for the love, and not the money.

I'll keep you all posted with my progress.

There is a guy on the Chim forum that is looking to get a group buy together for some 4 stud spider replicas. Ignore the first picture on the post it is just a sample of the companies work.

Looks good, just wished I'd known before I started having 5 stud adapters made up by a company in the USA. Would be great if there were 4 stud spiders available.
