The Ford one is good. Nothing has aged except for the cars.

Anyone remember - 'Handbuilt by Robots'.

Don't know if or how many times actually shown on telly.

A 4 minute ad for a niche product ?

Funny how the first guy is a premonition of what the Audi driver would become.

Success can be a double edged sword.

The whole thing about not allowing a car to be advertised as fast is frankly ridiculous, but as we know people can go out and buy a fast car, but tell those people how the fast the car is an advert and people will die as a result. Once again, the government patronises you as it decides that you are not capable of knowing a car's 0-60 time, or having it suggested to you that driving quickly can be enjoyable.

I remember seeing magazine adverts from the 80s for the hot hatches of the day, it was all 0-60 times, one manufacturer pointing out that their car was faster than another etc. Now I think to the most common magazine advert for a car I've seen in the last few years and it has to be the Seat Cupra advert that was on the back of EVO every month for about a year. Here is a car that is designed for fast driving, with the engine, suspension, brakes and even the looks tailored for the keen driver. Except, anyone who didn't know cars would not know that, because none of it is mentioned in the advert. The only numbers on the page are the price, the finance deals and APR figures and the MPG numbers. This might be the acceptable kind of advertising in "Company car buyer" but not in EVO! The manufacturers are trying to sell products with their arms tied behind their backs.
