uninstall AOL from Mac OS X

Can anyone give me a quick run down of how to uninstall AOL from an OS X Mac

I'm seeing a mate tonight who needs rid of it...

Actually I own one but I did'nt know if AOL was as destructive on Macs as it is on PC's
