I've used Parcel2Go a few times who search several carriers for the best price that day. Its door to door and dead easy to use

I use burns express (based near Linwood) for all my carrier requirements. Phone in morning you should get a same day uplift and delivery down south next day. Very reliable and have found costs quite good.

Cheers! (and it wasn't even my question!)

Had to some roof bars to send today, normally use paisleyfreight as recommended above who have always been good but today parcel2go were quite a bit cheaper for what I wanted to send. thumbup

ETA ordered through Parcel2Go at around 11am (print your own label and stick it on the parcel), TNT collected roof bars mid-afternoon, out for delivery at 10:30am this morning in Warwickshire - superb!
