Audio out of Sync
Discussion
I have a new Denon AVR1912 amp which has an HDMI out to my new Samsung TV.
I have an old Sony Freeview PVR (approx 5 years old) and a new Panasonic BluRay player connected to the amp via HDMI.
When I play BluRay everything is perfect - the sound from the ceiling speakers and the picture on the TV are totally in sync.
When I watch something via the Sony Freeview box I am getting adio and picture put pf sync and I'm sure it gets worse the longer I watch a program.
Anyone got any ideas as to why? Is the older technology sending a slow HDMI signal (b
ks??) , should I upgrade to a new Freeview box (which I will anyway in the new year when I can receive HD on Freeview)?
