Howdy Ho!

There's a particularly offensive South Park Christmas song sung by Mr Hankey and Kenny that I'd really like the chords to - just in case I get pissed enough down the pub over xmas and get to strum a few chords.

I plan to do it in a spoken word format apart from the bits where Kenny sings - and as Kenny sounds almost as bad as my singing, I might just get away with it!

Unfortunately I'm pretty lost on the guitar unless I have the chords in front of me, so I'm hoping someone with an 'ear' might just jot down the verse and chorus chord transitions then I can get on with a bit of practicing.

There is a you-tube link but this is extremely NSFW, search 'southpark most offensive christmas song' - if you can't find the song I mean just PM and I'll send it over.

I think I can start it.....

Obviously 4/4 timing, so (from start of verse):

1.2.3.4 / 1.2.3.4 / 1.2.3.4 / 1.2.3.4 / 1.2.3.4 / 1.2.3.4 / 1.2.3.4 / 1.2.3.4
Bmaj Bmaj Fmaj Bmaj Bmaj Emaj C#maj Bmaj

Getting a bit lost after that. It probably involves a minor chord somewhere, and the only tune I've learned by ear is the intro music to the BBC snooker programme. I'm not good without tab!

This is a potentially killer thread. I was getting the intro to Metallica's Nothing Happens or whatever it's called, but ended up getting lost - be good to have the tabs/instructions. I don't need the guitar solo.

Found exactly what I want - Songsterr - Nothing Else Matters. Get in quick because Metallica don't like this 'free music' stuff IIRC

Kiteless has got the start of it down, I'll provide it how I've worked it out. It's a toughie as it's piano which makes transposing it a bh, however I've got the tab for the first bit as well.

Do let me know if you're good at barre chords, if not I can provide a different version.

I suggest you go into chords after this point, so start strumming after that first bit. Strumming pattern I used is mute then upstroke but you can use whatever.

It's almost there I think, it's not perfect, but I can refine it or provide it in a different key or an easier to play version if you'd like.

Working the rest out should be pretty simple as it follows the same key, although I haven't listened to the whole thing, let me know if there's any changes.

Put a capo on fret 2 and it's all open chords.

Barre chords are no problem at all - thanks for your efforts!

As above cappo 2nd fret looks good, might even be able to get it up to my natural pitch hehe

Now if I can just learn the ukalele by the weekend it'll be a hit for christmas!
