There's an exceptionally large influx of this diurnal Owl all over the UK this winter. Google your county bird news page for regular sighting reports.

We had 7 at Blueberry Farm, Maidwell and another 2 or 3 at nearby Harrington Aerodrome. There's been up to 16 reported together at Blueberry!

Get yourselves to any rough grassland in your area.

Beautiful things my favourite bird of prey by far.We have a family of tawny owls in the woods behind our house.We love listening to them at night
