Car passed MOT but they bumped my car.

Before they had even got the car into the workshop the mechanic somehow managed to get involved in a scrape in the car park with a van. The mechanic admitted responsibility and they told me straight away so fair play to them. Don't really understand how he managed it but I think he pulled out and the van glanced the front of the car scraping white paint onto the nose of my car and grazing the numberplate and grille badge.

They told me to choose a repairer and they'll settle it through their insurance, I chose a place that they happen use anyway so it should be fairly straight forward. I'm going to the repair place tomorrow for them to have a look and give me a quote. I'm not sure if there is something I should have asked that I didn't because I've never had to deal with anything like this before, but it seems pretty straight forward and as they use the repair place I'm going to they already have their details.

Also I might add this was my local County Council place and they were very good other than that, very clean and new workshop. Just bad luck I suppose.
