I've been making fresh fruit juice for 10+ years and now just cannot drink tropicana et al. Yuk
My favourites of the moment (season) are 1. carrot, cox apple, beetroot and ginger. All english produce so very fresh and yum. The beetroot adds an amazing earthy texture. 2. Orange Juice occasionally blended with a little grapefruit juice or blood orange juice.
What's your favourite? It would nice to keep this thread limited to fresh juice - carton stuff not welcome!

Orange, Carrot and a dash of Lemon Juice is very enjoyable.
I have a Phillips juicer (the one that will take a whole apple in the top). I personally think its a faff to clean as we don't have a dishwasher.
We also have a separate orange juicer which I find ends up being easier than peeling an orange and putting it through the Phillips one.

I have got a citrus press for citrus (obviously!) all the way from Turkey. £50 or so.
And a £350 waring juicer bought on ebay for about £40. It was very lightly used and got bleach treatment which made it perfect. I use filter papers on the mesh which makes cleaning a 2 minute simple rinse instead of a 10 minute complex and frustrating chore. The model is PJE50X. They come up often (but not always as cheap as £40) cos they are a yuppy must have which get discarded when cleaning and general juice making time builds up.

They're made especially for the waring juicer I believe. http://www.amazon.com/CAC66-Juice-Extractor-Replac...Pressing citrus fruit is far better than blitzing it! Blitzing adds oxygen into the juice which affects flavour, consistency and general enjoyment!
way too much effort for me, but am lucky in that fresh juice is available most places here for the same price as a bottle of coke. the juice bar where i have lunch is fantastic. a particular favourite is lemon and mint.
weird thing is though, i can't stand fresh pressed apple juice, whereas the fake tasting carton stuff is lovely and refreshing.

which apples are being used for the fresh juice? I find sharp apples work best - cox or granny smith. Pink lady, royal gala etc are too sweet.weird thing is though, i can't stand fresh pressed apple juice, whereas the fake tasting carton stuff is lovely and refreshing.

This sounds great.I fear I get a juicer, use it a couple of times and never use it again
The apple and ginger / apple and beetroot are delicious.

- The range of stuff it can juice, wheatgrass for example
- Ease of cleaning
- Extracts more juice
Can anyone confirm / deny?
