Blimey! I get the collywobbles riding the new North Shore bits at Llandegla, and that's only a 2ft drop!

Think the helmet-cam makes it look higher and less of a certainty that you'll make it alive. Still, no doubting the distance you'd fall if you got it wrong.

Not sure the helmet or knee pads would help much if you misjudged it.

Personally I wouldn't walk it - let alone ride it!!

Idiocy. I don't understand why people take these kinds of risks personally other than to show off by filming it and putting it on the internet. One misplaced foot, some kind of mechanical failure, or your handlebar clips the rock face alongside and you fall to your death.

Just not worth it. IMHO of course.

I haven't riden a mtb in years but I'd give that a go no doubt it'd hurt if you got it wrong but on the offchance that you did you'd be very unlucky to die on the majority of those drops.

They were telling him to "siddown" at the end, suggesting he lived, at least.

That's a pretty good video. I think I'd need a bit of persuading to say the least for me to try that, my balls would be in my stomach, however if you made it, It'd be SO worth it.

It says in the comments: This was Miles Todds crash in 2003
"I personally know Miles. He was fine. go to mountainbikebill . com for the full story. He just got some cuts and bruises is all haha."

So it looks like he was pretty lucky!
