Can't get DAB in my house
Discussion
I live in a converted barn with open eaves and the the roof is insulated with a material that blocks digital reception. It's fine with anything attached to an outside aerial, but my tranny won't work and I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to overcome the problem. Is there a simple way that I can turn the whole fffing house into a receiver? Replies gratefully received.
Given my advancing years you will have to bear with me. I want to use a portable digital radio around the house as well as my bedside radio without going to the trouble of having to install aerial point. As the house is insulated with some sort of material that blocks radio waves, does anyone know if there's a simple fix which will allow me to get a reception on a portable device? It's too cold in the shed this time of year.
