New Jaguar XJ, the fugliest new car??

saw one of these in the flesh earlier today and it looked desperately ugly, esp. the front end, a shame really as the XF had decent styling.

Can anyone think of an uglier new car of 2011?

Behave. The best rear end of any car in the last 10 years.

Easily beats the boring BMW/Audi/Merc styling at the moment.

I agree the rear styling is good, however have you seen one in real-life - the front end is hideous, reminds me of the db7 zagato,

I love the Jag OP has posted too, it is a great looking car. One of the bosses (I presume) at a business unit near my place of work has a gorgeous dark green XJL, I love it. It's an absolute tank of a car and barely fits in a parking space of average size for this country, but it looks like the ultimate luxury cruiser.

Where do you start... Renault Wind, BMW MINI C*untryman, BMW MINI Baseball Cap, Honda Civic, BMW 1 series, 5 series and 6 series. I'm trying to be even-handed but ugly is being mopolised by BMW at present.

The nose is a poor effort, but the rear half of the car is something special. No current saloon can match it.

Parts of the design are superb - at least its original and infinitely more preferable to the blandness of the default Fritz 3
