Any maverick 'aerodynamicists' want to lend a hand?

Great stuff.

It was the stuff of legends when Obree on his washing machine parts-bin special traded hour records with Boardman with his wind-tunnel testing and carbon fibre technology. That period was the pre-cursor to GB's domination of the velodrome.

And with GB aiming to continue it's domination of the ultimate land speed record with Bloodhound, Obree would bridge the gap like a fairytale.

If only I was a documentary maker, I'd love to follow it all. smile

Good luck to him... he's entering a very competitive and high tech event, the current front running teams are using some amazing machinery and riders in the high 70's/low 80's mph range, the tech/fitness leap to 100mph is some think beyond current technology and riders.

Yes I think he's more suited for the HPV hour record (currently just under 57mph) than the highest speed record (just under 83mph) which I would have though would suit an ex sprinter.
