Hi all. I'm going to be selling my M3 in the next few months as I'm looking for something a little bit more special as a weekend toy and the Tamora prices are getting within spitting distance of my budget. The only slight issue is that I could never fit in the seats in a Chim (the M3 was second choice to one!) so am wondering if the Tamora is any different?

I don't want to go and waste a dealers time as I'm not going to buy one yet and I don't know anyone that owns one, so has anyone made the move from a Chim to a Tamora and do you know if the seats are any wider or the centre console any slimmer?

Really? Damn!

I tried a mates chim a while back and couldn't shut the door! I appreciate I'm not a small chap (6'4") and although I'm perhaps slightly larger than I should be in the arse area, I wouldn't have put myself anywhere near the bracket of 'fatties who can't fit in cars'!!

destined for a TVR-less life I think frown

Forgive me for asking, but what weight are you?

I'm 6ft 3, and around the 17st area - and I can get in the Tamora fine. My personal advice would be to find a garage (Fernhurst are close, Racing Green are slightly further away), give them a shout, and see if you can have a wriggle around and fit in one.

It would also give you a chance to try Tuscans etc if you really can't fit.

Hi Tony. That's really good of you, thank you. I'm going to be away doing the family thing all over Christmas so won't be around. If you don't mind though, I'll give you a shout in the new year sometime when I'm a bit closer to being ready to start looking. Cheers mate.
