Call me old fashioned, but the statement "Isn't that a bribe" is not a judgement or ruling, it's a question.

What a thoroughly decietful headline that article has, the judge has not made any ruling on Ecclestone yet.

Normally you would hope this could spell the end of BE, but sadly I doubt any conviction would wipe out his ability to keep going... or take it out on the fans in the form of recouping monies from elsewhere, like the fees involved in F1...

The article headline says nothing about a ruling, merely that:

By the judge saying "isn't that a bribe" he is, in fact, suggesting that in his opinion it is a bribe. It is a statement rather than a question.

Taking it the way you read it Derek, it's still not a statement of fact. The article itself has a question mark punctuation after the judges words, which usually means the words were there to form a question.

Either way it's a sloppy piece of journalism, and the heading for this thread is poorly judged.
