Couple of really mint examples (low mileage <80k) that I thought I would share. Which would you prefer 944 or 968?

Face of the 944 and tail of the 968. Could be happy with either though. Black really suits the shape.

That is my thought as well..front of the 944 looks more mean. Black looks really good on the 944.

Thought I prefered the 968, looking at them side by side the 944 looks right, the 968 looks like a wannabe 928 and fails.

I prefer the front of the 968 and the rear of the 944. Can I have the bits you don't use? smile

Always prefer the 944 look to the 968, especially in black, but then I may be a tad biased !

We have our own in house air modification that works well.

Best mods is brakes and suspension to carry more speed rather than messing about with the dme.

The black 944 was a gamble purchase that turned out very well : really clean example.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I don't suppose it would be that hard to bolt the 944 front panels onto a 968?

People have installed LSx engines into 944's, and they seem to work pretty well.

It's a bit crowded under the bonnet with 8 cylinders, mind.

Later S2 with the bridge spoiler maybe, add cup 1's and mirrors?

Though from the original pic I'd take the GT3 RS smile

My old 944S2 had the 968 rear hatch, door handles, mirrors and CS steering wheel. 'twas lovely, and I still miss it. It was surprising to me how well the 944/968 hybrid look worked - preferred it to the 968.

The front wings are a totally different fit, I'd guess you'd have to change inner wings and pretty much everything from the bulkhead forward?

Spend £10-15k on a turbo and it would be all over the GT3.

968 all day every day for me. I was parked up in mine next to a 944 at Brands earlier this year and spent a good half hour or so looking them both over.

Only thing I would change about mine is I fancy one of the split rear wings but I'm determined to keep mine as close to original as possible with just the odd choice hidden upgrade like MO30 ARBs and the like.

Might look at fitting some big reds on day but that might only tempt me to brake later...
