Hi,

In my previous posts i was asking about Maidenhead and Windsor areas. I am starting a new job in the end of Jan and need to relocate with the family.

I am not able to find any good property in Maidenhead or Twyford so far now we are thinking about considering other areas like Burnham or Taplow. Few of my friends and letting agencies have recommended me about Burnham area, primary schools are also good in burnham. I am not sure about Chippenham and Langley areas. I have tried Datchet but nothing avialable in our budget.

Any advise about Burnham?

Burnham is OK but make sure you live on the north side that is north of the high street.
It is lovely there, lived there for 10 years myself.

Forget Chippenham, it's a dump.

I used to live in Langley. It was alright, nothing special, nothing awful. There are far worse areas. A lot of it depends on what street you go for TBH

Langley is rough, really rough! That whole area is to be avoided IMO Burnham; well some beautiful houses but dont end up on an Estate or you might as well be in Langley!

What sort of budget are you looking at if you dont mind me asking ?
Family member has and estate agents so can keep an eye open for something if you like ?

My Budget is ideally £850 - £950 but if there is any good property which ticks all the boxes then i might go upto £1000 or £1050.

- Area: Maidengead, Twyford, Burnham, Langley and windsor
- 2 Adults and 2 kids (under age 5)
- 2/3 Bedroom flat or a house with either garage or a boarded loft space
- We don't have any pets and we don't somke either
- Don't mind if there is no garden

I've lived in Langley, Burnham and now live in a village on the outskirts of Langley. I wouldn't live in Burnham again as too close to the Britwell/Priory estates. Cippenham avoid. The nice parts of Datchet can be pricey and very noisy with planes (too near Heathrow). You're going to have to go to the up end of your budget to get anything decent, I'm afraid.
