Is this the latest craze in car modding? I've seen a few of this type of car about but didn't realise it was a whole "scene" with mags and websites. Each to there own and all that, but they must be really ste to drive.....

Been going on for years in Japan, just another crap fad the kids over here are 10 years late to the party on that'll no doubt get huge.

Nothing new here; apart from a photoshopped TT on Wellers.

The "Stanced" label might be the result of a re-branding exercise, but they have been around for decades. Had a ride in one 20+ years ago and they are as uncomfortable as they look. Having to approach speed humps at an angle to avoid grounding out and getting stuck soon wears thin.

Stupid amounts of camber, stretched tyres and poking out wheels looks st imo. I do however like a car that has perfect wheel fitment (fills the arches, flush with arches, wide tyres)

Rauh Welt does it commercially, making normal Porsches look like racing porsches (because they look 'right', and go right (and lefft)) pretty much, but I suspect they don't sort the geometry out while doing so to allow the car to retain its handling, and then they stick all this "Illest" and "Fatlace" branding crap on the cars.

(Not stanced or Rauh Welt, but just a sensible car in this thread of horrible monstrosities. Consider it eyebleach.)
