Anyone ever see this in the 80s?

Built by a good mate of my Dad's, Nick Butler, it was a cracking idea. Not sure why it never took off - production costs probably.

Anyway, a nice slice of what could have been for sale on ebay:

Nick looked after Dad's looney P100 (Cortina shape) pick up with a nutty V8 and his BBR Racing Shogun.

If I had £20,000 to waste on a car, would I buy this?

I don't know. Its a maybe a very interest maybe.

The concept was fairly unique at the time and Nick spent a vast amount of effort trying to get it right. My only gripe is the Senator rear lights!!

Not really a Supercar is it, but not bad for something built in a shed. Apart from the odd horns on the front bumper?

Usual Ebay advert laughs to be had.. trying to sell for £20K and not being bothered to get the interior clean!

Bad Bits:-
The cabin need a valet
The gas struts holding the rear engine cover need replacing
There is slight discoloration of the windscreen laminate about 2 square inches, this is not visible from the inside.
The wheel rims need polishing
There is a scratch in the rear bumper, hardly notices and a few stone chips on the front bumper.

Wonder what it's really worth?
£2000? £3000?

You should see Nick's "shed" - pretty impressive really.

But yes - £20k is silly. And it needed a bit more poke.
