Ted...have you planned for any way of getting cars out of the mud on sunday after the weekends rain???

Should i pack a tow rope or two with the landrover just so I can be a helpful chappy and win over all the folks i've offended by turning up in a tank?

Regards
Iain

Ted has booked clear blue sky for the entire weekend. It's all part of the ticket price.

The ground is flat so even if there is rain we don't anticipate any problems unless people churn up the grass.

That said, if you're bringing a Landy then yes please, do bring a tow rope in case of any broken down cars

We are also bringing a landy and Incorrigible is bringing a Range Rover, so between the three of us there should be no problems

I be in my Nissan Navara 4x4 pick up and I'll have the tie down straps for the race car which can double as tow straps.

I think between us we'll be ok!

I'm bringing a couple of 30-40 foot ropes which you can use if needs be.

Alternatively I was thinking of suggesting a tug o'war competition amongst the campers one night - what do you think?

We had a tug of war with a Land Rover Forward control and three Suzuki SJ's.

The Suzuki's pulled as hard as they could, but the bloke in the Forward Control just released his brakes, then gentley pulled forward and dragged them round the field. The FC didn't even loose traction.
