How easy is it to remove the driver's side electric window switch on a 993? Mine looks like it's coming a bit loose and had trouble closing the window yesterday.

Can I do it without removing the door panel?

I know it's probably easy but only if you know how

Get a screwdriver and wrap it in a cloth, gently lever it out from the side. it comes out easily. make sure that when you unclip the electrical connection that it doesn't go back behind the door panel before you fit the new switch.
on a scale of 1/10 for difficulty the job barely registers on the scale

thanks for that clubsport Does the square surround just come away with the switch when you lever it off or does that bit come off first?

The square surround housing the switch that moves up/down is all one unit. Just a simple push fit into the door trim.
