Went to start the M3 this morning and only got dash lights and clicking sounds. Suspected the battery - 6/7 years old, short trips and all winter electrics on. So went out and bought a replacement battery. Got home after work and everything was dead including the remote locking. So the battery it is. Replaced it and everything sprung into life. I checked the remote locking and that she started ok. All good. However I get no display on the OBC/Sat Nav screen? The radio works. The units in the boot eject the CDs and the Sat Nav DVD. Just no display on the screen. Had a quick look in the handbook and it says nothing regarding power interruption other than the loss of seat memory and clock settings. Any ideas?
