Road trip over new year

I've got a car in glasgow for a day. I was wondering which places around glasgow would be worth a visit this time of the year. Any suggestions?

His title says he's looking to make a road trip, but yours is a good call for starters.
For your road trip you could start by heading over to Loch Lomond and drive North.

Try the west coast eg Going to inverary. Plan on an average speed of about 30-40 mph as this should allow you plenty of stops to admire the scenery

I would stay of the mian roads north eg towards Inverness as they can be very busy although parts are very Beautiful
