Remap - Insurance Hike on Fabia VRs?
Discussion
Hi all,
I'm new to the "modified" scene so bear with me. I am looking at a VRs which has been remapped to 170hp. This seems to be quite a fun car to me. The question would be has anyone else had quotes for a remap of this sort? Did it make a drastic difference? I am 37, one non-fault claim in 2007, no points since passing in 1991.
Any thoughts?

t unless it's knackered.So for 6.5k I'd expect one hell of a car!

The same guys who, so I reliably heard, attempted to remap someone's Alfa but left them stranded with a toasted ECU and huge bill from Alfa to rectify Cant help you with insurance, all I can say is mine never changed

I cant comment on that as i know nothiong about it. all i can say is the remap on my VRS was fantastic. MPG went up on a run, down around town and power increase was significant.
The Alfa probably broke down because its an Alfa
