After some help and advice for a mate please smile

2004 Vanquish. 11k miles. Not used for 3-4 months. Sat on trickle-charge.

He came to use it today but could not select reverse. Only gear available is 2nd. He also tried to contact Rick (Derby) but reckons he's not available for some reason.

Anyone have any advice. Or a contact for Rick please pm me

All the best and a Merry Xmas beer

Rick is no longer trading... Phone a local dealer, sounds like something more serious than general forum advise would fix!

+1... I wouldn't call anybody other than Bamford Rose for specialist Vanquish work.

Check out the link to BamfordMike sticky above. See the post made 20th July.

I was in their workshop when they upgraded that Vanquish box to the latest magnetic sensor spec. I understand the improvement in shift quaility is amazing, bringing oid level Vanquish sportshift up to the capability of V8 system - or as close as...

The team at Bamford Rose were on original design and development of the Vanquish and they have some great stories to tell.
