How loud is yours? - dB meter coming to PF
Discussion
Folks, I have a dB meter sitting on my desk here so I'm going to put it in my boot and bring it with me. Anyone wants to know how loud their exhaust is please feel free to seek me out.
The normal test specified by the RAC is a static test running at 2/3 the maximum engine rpm measured at 45° and 0.5 m from the exhaust pipe.

I may well seek you out...
The Cerbie was last measured at 119Db at 45o. Think on twin exhaust motors it's supposed to be at the centre point though.
Whatever though, as a serious point you may want to invest in some earplugs. The person who measured mine said it was painful to get the reading...
Cheers
