I got hold of this pump truck thing when I had the Westfield as it used to lift the entire car to a height of around 4 feet.H&S wouldn't have liked it as the car was effectively balanced on it, but It was used more to work on and around the car rather than under it.Today, it comes in useful for things like gearbox oil changes as I also have some long ramps (12 feet plus I would think), so I drive up those then jack the back which makes the car level.

Three stacks of tyres... useful! But not all that stable...

Then we used the accepted method for removing the shell, but that's another story.

Thats all very well but the bonnet needs to come off first [obviously]

I was going to give my chassis a good bit of loving over christmas but have been scratching my head on how to jack it up enough to get under it. Now where can I get a tractor from? Shirly the farmers will be busy enjoying the christmas period lol
