Vixen Fuel Gauge
Discussion
Don't know if mine was an original, but it had two coils inside, which were adjustable, and it 'mostly worked' with a standard Ford temp sender. I *think* it would probably be something like 60 ohms, but not sure.
I can tell you what the temp senders should be, if it helps....did a bit of research for kit car swops.

I bought a fuel tank off of e-bay that fits in the TVR http://www.ebay.com/itm/1934-35-CHEVY-STANDARD-STE...
The new tank is baffled and the float on the fuel sender hits the baffle. I did bend the arm on the float to get it to "mostly work". But the bolt pattern is different on the top of the sender and I will have to modify the sender to bolt to the tank.
The company that sold the tank does offer a sender but I need to know the ohm range that the gauge works at to match the sender with the fuel gauge.
Thanks,-Jeff
