Does anyone know whether any reciprocal arrangement between the authorities has happened yet? I think we might have located France's only speed camera on a recent trip!!! Just wondering where we stand - does anyone have any accurate info?

Thanks

Not the only one - they've got quite a few and keep installing them. For future reference, this site is handy:

www.radarsfixes.com/c_carte.asp?carte=F

Supposedly a true Europlod system is not up and running yet, and unless your speed was REALLY excessive I don't think they'll bother with trying to extort money out you.

In general, for Brit drivers in France the critical issue is not to get pulled for speeding by the french cops, because they will then fine you and keep your vehicle until you pay up the bastards!

Best of luck

Thanks folks. Fingers crossed I guess. Actually, I'm just wondering how they'd enforce a ticket since under UK law presumably they'd have to send you your NIP within 2 weeks of any alleged offence.
