I've decided to take the plunge and do a couple of trackdays this year in the Seven. Aside from a little karting and a couple of laps of the Haynes track in my old Evo VI (which was terrifying) I'm a total novice. So having dealt with Motorsport Events through work, I thought I'd try them and do Keevil, Hullavington and Abingdon. I live near Swindon so all should be quite accessible smile

I've had a good look at MSE's website and also seen the youtube videos and the tracks look like fun but with plenty of run-off. I also understand MSE are very organised and the days are well worthwhile for the money?

So, anyone else planning on this in 2012? If so I'll be the newbie in a yellow Caterham biggrin

Just got a RX8 PZ and did Keevil couple of weeks ago and then Oulton last week , MSE seem OK, Oulton was snowed off after a few laps and so we got a credit voucher, which was more than I expected. I just turned up at Keevil and did a half day.
Organisation was good.
Have booked Bedford on 14th feb next. i didn't notice the local airfields listed for 2012 yet.

I use them a lot, and have done for a few years. I find they are well organised and well run days, with a mix of abilities of drivers.

Normally they don't start running trackdays again till February. I'm only up the road from you (Kempsford). Drop me an email when you book one and I might well be booked on smile

TOP Lurking fella biggrin

Bedford's a little far and I'm not sure my Seven would pass the noise regs there, it's bloody loud. The website has some dates added but no dates added for Keevil yet :@)

Good stuff and good to know. I'm actually in Highworth, so only about 3 miles from you laugh

February or later is fine as I hate driving the car in ste weather, but will definitely drop you an email when I've spoken to MSE in the New Year smile
