Is there anything i can do about the sticking fuel cap?
Today i refueled ive not used the car for a month and the cap would'nt shift with the button also the ring bull in the boot had no effect i had to use my fingers to help it pop up.
It's a 2007 model i assume it's down to infrequent use on a poor design and sorted out on the later models.
Cheers

You could try some WD40 to loosen up the clip that locks it in place - then press the release button a few times. Because the WD40 will evaporate - you could keep it loose with some light oil. A little odd if the ring-pull thing in the boot isn't moving it.

Whether you release it with the cockpit button or the pull chord in the boot, it is the very same bullet mechanism you are operating. Usually if it is on its way out then you will get more purchase from the boot but even that will eventually stop working as it did on mine.

Well known issue, fixed under warranty - check if your's is covered under the extended one, otherwise follow Kris' instructions accordingly.

Rick did mention a fix a while back but I cannot remember the full instructions smile
