Sprint Booster on M5

Yes, I have just installed on my M5 and it works very well. The car feels like it is in 500 mode when in 400 and when in 500 is absolutely ballistic.
I have heard many detractors say just push the accelerator harder, but I am amazed with the transformation to the car with this device.

I was fairly sceptical about this device but I must say I am now a convert.

I must admit I was initially of the same view, but after trying it I can confirm it works.
Would I give it back for a full refund? No way. Most effective modification for little cost that I have ever experienced with a car.

Sounds like it just remaps the throttle response. The "sport" button in my Z4MC does the same, and it renders it almost undriveable. It's like a hair-trigger.

Agreed.
I find that it works extremeley well, but others might disagree.
It was a xmas present from my wife and I am more than happy with it.
As I said, would I send it back, no chance.

Most autos have a delay/deadzone - these boxes reduce/remove it, but shouldn't affect the revs the gearchange ocurrs at.
Sport mode will make the box hang on to gears more before selecting the next, but the delay from stationary is still there.

I find the M button in the 1M just the same, just seems to turn the throttle into an on/off switch.

I agree on both sides. Yes its just a throttle remap, but the psychological effect it can have is huge. When you have 500 (or 343 in my case) ponies, you want it to feel a bit wild.

For the first year i regarded sport mode as on or off, however the last 6 months i have it on everday and it gives a throttle response i prefer (a little less would be nice).

So for me a throttle remap was great, transforms the car. But doesnt make it go any quicker!

Throttle remap it might be, but I couldn't possibly buy something from a company that thought a CSL was a M5 clicky.
