I had to drive to work too at 6.15am... I must have seen... ooh... several cars along my 20 mile drive biggrin

Shame I haven't got the chance for a hoon, it would be perfect this morning.

Brother in Law just arrived.
He has bought a new car - classic- last week didn't tell anyone. A lovely E type Jag.... Series one!!! Were going to head out for a little jaunt shortly while the women and kids do thee thing. Plus before the booze starts.

One of my all time favourite cars I've never been in one before cannot wait.

Went for a hoon earlier today as well, just finished looking at some stuff from the GoPro (nothing worth sharing, I'm afraid). Was a nice run, came across a little bit of traffic on the A3 and was worried it would be busy, but fairly soon it settled down and I only came across one or two other cars (including one old fart in a Rover who kept stopping every 20 seconds on a single track road rage).

Would you believe that my car was clean this morning!

Time to crack open a beer, I suppose.

Hoon for me too. Took 50 mins to drive the 10 mins to my dads. It was like having my own race track. Must have seen 6 cars, 5 of which were performance cars!

Had a great run down the Portuguese coast this morning, roof down and great weather. Seen a 458, red with black roof - looked absolutely amazing biggrin.

Grr... I'm within striking distance of Exmoor and the roads are empty. Somehow though a hoon in a 1.8 automatic A4 doesn't hold significant appeal.

Roll on New Year's M3!

Just back in having taken my new 205 out for a blast. It seems to use a litre of oil to a tank of fuel! Engine still pulls very well though.

1.9?

My 309 used to have a bit of a oil drinking problem. Valve stem seals were the likely cause.

Yep, is a 1.9 and is the valve stem seals. I've 2 other 205s on the drive, this was an impulse ebay purchase (i.e I had no intention of buying it but did!)

Also spotted when I was out - an F reg MR2, a C reg Quattro in 80s white and a 205 rallye. Not bad for a Christmas morning.
