As always with Christmas Day, the roads are pretty much empty, so later I might take the Type R for a blast on the welsh twisties. Anyone else doing this today? If so, where you going and what you taking?

Just a blast to the inlaws for dinner. Cornish B roads in a Clio RS200. Good christmas present.

Up early today, took in some of the finest B roads the province has to offer in the Monaro.

Just over 100 miles, seen 5 other cars. Window down, V8 soundtrack and pleasantly slidey roads.

Sitting waiting on my lift to dinner, beer is in the fridge and all is well in the world. Have a safe hoon everyone smile

Had to play taxi for mum so took the long way back in the Fiesta ST, warm but quite slippy out there, had a play with a civic Type R, like to think he was hooning too, surprisingly quite a few cars on the roads round here. Merry Xmas everyone.

About to head out in the next hour, I'm developing cabin fever otherwise!

I really fancy being out in the Westfield today. But thats 100mile away.
I have left my car at hospital which is also 70 mile away.

Feel lost without a car here.

Yup - 80 miles of some excellent Shropshire and Welsh roads. Mostly empty, roof down, Santa hat on. Bliss smile

I've not driven anywhere since thursday. It's the longest period of not driving for a long time for me!

I've been on the lash quite a bit so I've not had much opportunity.

However, the balance will be restored tomorrow thanks to a visit to Wales to see family. The heads of the valley road will be picked up from the M50 for about 60 miles of fun.

Was too 'Merry' yesterday, but the roads were equally as quiet today round my way.

Was a bloody good run and a good final hoon in my car before i nip off to Australia for 3 months; until i got home and remembered i'd left a crate of 12 beers in the boot. mad

Off to sit in the garage with the one surviving beer and wet vac the boot carpet now.
