HPI check question/Interest registered against a previous pl

Hi

Going to the UK to buy a RX-8 and this came up on the HPI report

Alert Details
Plate Transfer
The current plate was transferred to this vehicle on 04/06/2009
J60HUA was applied to this vehicle on 10/12/2006
This VRM has been recorded as an insurance theft
The insurance theft was recorded on 05/05/2002 against a TOYOTA LANDCRUIS
DA06EGV was applied to this vehicle on 31/05/2006
There are no interests recorded against DA06EGV

Just checking that this is ok with the Mazda... Seems to me the problems was on the Toyota and that has been removed?

Exactly - the private plate was on a vehicle that was stolen, and now it's on the Mazda which wasn't.

(plus the theft was in 2002 and you're looking at a 2006 registered car)
