Folks, As requested a photo of my new acquisition in a car park earlier today overlooking Plymouth Sound with Drakes Island in the background ( I am no photographer I fear ).

The car drives beautifully, and is very different to the V8 Vantage.

Bit of a hiccup also as follows. When SWMBO tried to exit the car, the passenger door would not unlock from the inside. I had to achieve this from the outside using the door handle. Having done so , the door would then not close properly as the catch would not engage. I made matters worse by pressing the lock function on the remote which activated the catch . Then I couldn't unlock the catch with the door open and could not therefore close it .

With me so far ?

Fiddled around for a few minutes pressing the unlock button and eventually the lock did unlock enabling the door to be closed correctly.

Happened twice since.

Anyone any ideas ? Basically the door catch is not functioning as it should.

Tony, To access the cable does the door handle assembly inside just need to be removed by undoing the two torx screws ?

Only surprising thing is that you don't always nip round and open the door for SWMBO to exit the car redcard

I used to but a bad back and the old war wound prevents me doing so these days !

....and as well as making yourself look like a true gentleman you can also make sure that SHMBO doesn't open the door into anything irked(with the associated argument!!).
