In general any light except red can be shown to the front. A lamp could possibly be deemed an "optional position lamp" which must be white, but apparently it's hard to prove.

I think it looks ok. I was expecting to to hate it but it actually looks OEM which is a good thing - I bet if this was on a McLaren or Lamborghini people's opinion might be very different compared to an Audi
