My cars over the last six years all shown in pics...

I really got into decent cars in my early thirties when my work started to pay off and then as things got better I made up for lost time by changing quite often!
The kids are in bed, I can't eat or drink anymore, it feels like about midnight but I am still awake so here we are.
This colour is VERY questionable (Jade green) but it was cheap because of it and I couldn't see it from the inside!
It was the old 2.5, the car that turned things around for Porsche and the one that gave me the bug.
The next one was inspired by the 964 RS, I bought it from a dealer in the north unseen, he rebuilt the engine, sprayed it Viper green, lowered it and was very patient, picking it up having never seen it was a great day.
Then the CSL, the tactility of this car was amazing, so much so that have actually owned two, I will own a third and the way I am carrying on probably a six or seventh!
Then came the Maserati, again, bought unseen from a Ferrari dealer, in Nottingham, part of their pledge was a full tank of fuel so he drove it to the petrol station with me to point out all the various bits and pieces and then proceeded to fill it up with 'normal' octane fuel.
Company policy I was told on asking so I made sure I got rid of that tank as quick as possible!
Then my daughter was born, thought I had better get a sensible car, enter the Volvo T5 R.
Great car, I looked after it but suddenly driving into a kerb didn't ruin my day!
Anyway, soon after it blew up on the M1 resulting in a rolling roadblock....OH sent me back out for something else 'sensible' and I came home with this, could not get on with it and she told me to sell it and stop moaning.
It was okay, but I wanted to really slide it around on some gravel but there isn't much in St John's Wood.
Now I needed a little pick me up, went out one day and came home with this, fitted a Capristo and drove through tunnels for about a month. Why did I sell it? I still don't know..
Now the next one is interesting, I was out with my daughter one day in South Kensington, we had been in the park playing and then in a kid friendly restaurant throwing food at each other, we walked past the dealers and on a whim I went in.
When the sales chap finally detached himself from the lady at the front desk and came over he told me it was Eric Clapton's old car and very low mileage etc.
He was pretty rude and soon wandered off, they didn't really want us in their which was fair enough I guess, we were pretty messy and I wanted to sit in it so he finally came back and let me in begrudgingly, I didn't like his attitude.
So I bought it. I should have measured the garage first (and the bank account)
Immense power, noise, theatre, unbelievable car actually.
After that I needed to relax a bit, didn't have any point, still don't but you know how it goes. Quit while your ahead!
All well and good and I would have kept it if I had the space, beautiful car. When it came out it must have been incredible, it was built like a tank and the smell of leather was the same as if it has just left the factory.
So here we are now, the Porsche I posted when I bought it four months ago and the Mini Cooper S I got on Friday and posted that yesterday! Very happy and going to see a friend in the morning at at the moment leaning towards the Mini.

Just unreal, don't think I quite have the balls of steel like you to just purchase one unseen tho like a few of your cars. How long till the Porsche is traded in?

In reply to a couple of questions, the CSL has to be my favourite, the trust you have in the car is fantastic.
I have also driven one round the 'ring good few times so feel I can get in one and drive, I also had some good Euro/UK trips in one and the noise is like nothing else.
Next one will be a keeper! If i can find a good one....
The Porsche I need to get my head round before I sell it, it's a bit mad and as a result I use each drive to build up a bigger understanding, could be a keeper we'll see.

is it PDK or manual?And OP that is a very very nice history - do you have any bigger pictures of the Lambo and 6 series they are coming out very small
