From 3 Jan this bunch of Ts have decided that unless I pay £100 ? Quid a day I can't take my late 90s Turbo Diesel Van Anywhere within the M25 !!'
Needless to say , this is going to cause myself and Many others I have spoken to , ie small businesses, the self employed, retired , Motorhome Owners etc etc , Massive Agro and now their Hard Earned is next to worthless.

I have been quoted 3 Grand ( yes really ) to have a Wonder Filter fitted , which is a load of Blx. My only other option is to repower with a Later Fiat ? Engine . Multi Jet ? I beleive it is called ? Fiat and their dealers have been a complete and utter joke trying to get any Technical info from . It apears that they have No UK Technical dept.

Anyone point me I'n the direction of any independent Fiat Experts ?

It's very unlikely you'll be able to get the work done for less than the cost of the filter, unfortunately. If you could do the work yourself then maybe, but it'll need a fair bit of rewiring which takes time. You'll never make the money back on it.

The sort of money you are talking about should get you into a compliant van anyway, and it'll be worth a lot more later on.

Why not just buy a new van for like 250 a month. That's the whole point of the low pollution zone, to get older and less green commercial vehicles off the road.
