... a wet, cold, miserable, lost Dark Blue Marlin Roadster and a Stefan shaped object near, or around Stratford please stop and point me in the right direction I'm expecting to hit the area around 14:30 or so.

I'm decent at reading maps, but am driving roofless and by myself so might be a bit soggy and brassed off

Problems with the car means the top speed is lower than usual (unless the juddering at 70mph is fixed this eve) so convoying with the Tivvers from Woolley Edge is unfortunately out

Any chance of pushing thru the juddering barrier and settling for 80?

I had a huhmm company car that did that once, so I HAD to drive evrywhere at 85

I don't have a radio in the car Ted, that's just playing nasty

No chance burriana500 morally, thats past where I am comfortable driving at speed limit wise (still frightened of getting :sigh: more :sigh: points). I reckon I can hit 70 before the juddering hits and I'll settle for that.

That's your problem Stefan, your too busy worrying about the speedo and the thought of points.

Forget the speedo and look at the road, feel the speed of your car with just an occasional glance of the speedo to double check. That free's up your eyes to look out for hazards and camera's.
