MGB Rear spring mounting width

Hi all, could someone tell me the dimension of the rear spring width mounting, between centres please for an MGB.
As this uses a salisbury axle and diff ratio of 3.0(v8) it may fit in my p5b. Just need to check sizes first.

Firstly they don't use that ratio but it's not far off.

Secondly they are heinously expensive for a BV8 or C axle.

Thirdly I'd be amazed if it wasn't very much too narrow, it's a narrow axle in the car and it's far from a wide car.

I reckon a scimitar or capri 3.0 may make a better starting point?

I do know where there is a C axle avaialble. don't know if its auto or manual ration tho.

I know the width of the axle from the mg ,just need the spring measurement.
The scimitar axle has complications for me as I know nothing of the available ratios, if you know , post them on here please.
