hi all,my first post on here so go easy;
i am building an mnr vortx kit car with honda s2000 motor and am almost finished. i am wanting to set the suspension up properly on my own and was after some advice please;
1st a few details of the car. its inboard protech front suspension setup with pushrods. irs rear with protech dampers. 13" caterham wheels with 205/60/13 yokohama a048's et23 offset. front track is set by wishbones/uprights. but rear is adjustable with rose jointed wishbone ends, so;
1;what should front ride height be roughly? or should i just set it up so front lower wishbones are flat to ground?
2;is there a starting point for setting up protech front susension(in terms of winding the spring)? and how many clicks back from fully clockwise do i need to turn the valve? i can adjust front ride height by winding damper out or by winding out pushrods but am unsure exactly how to do this
3;how high should rear ride height be compared to front?
4;how wide should i set the rear track width compared to front?
thanks all! dan.

Contact MNR?

MNR should know what the ride height and any difference front/rear should be, its probably the same on all of their cars.

There is no reason why a lower wishbone should be parallel to the ground. This asumption might be right but is just as likely to be wrong.

You'll need to say if its for track or road.

Not knowing anything about this car but very generally for road I'd suggest ride heights of about 4in front, 4.5-5in rear assuming a flat bottom.

Any lower and you'll really struggle to get over any kind of speed bump.

AIUI rear track doesn't really matter.
