Everyman motor racing 'thrill' - any tips?

I've had a voucher for a 'supercar thrill day' for chrimbo, with Everyman racing. I'm not expecting a huge amount - particularly having read the reviews on tripadvisor. That said, anyone done one? Any tips for getting the most out of it? Best venue? There seems to be a fairly wide choice.
