Bournemouth New Year Classic Car on the Prom
Discussion
As we were staying the night in town thought i'd go down, dont know what its been like in previous years but i thought it was very good, brought back a lot of good memories of cars owned in the past
, a nice standard HSR Chevette and a Renault Alpina made my day!, shame about the weather though

In previous years, when our dear friend the old 'current bun' has put in an appearance, it has filled the promenade by the roundabout for the BIC all the way down both sides to pier approach, more cars there, then some up the hill by the I max and along the sea front (under the east cliff) to where the public parking begins.

Alas today was somewhat subdued, I was still impressed to see a very nice MGC roadster out, an Austin Healey 100/6, a very early Triumph Spitfire and an enthusiastically driven '67 Hillman Hunter (skinny tyres sideways, respect
).For those who are interested, this happens every Sunday afternoon from Easter Sunday onwards. Always nice to have a mooch about.
