New years meet

Does anyone know if there are any car related gatherings for new year, and I mean like midnight! I thought it would be a pretty good way to see the new year in, only problem being that the drivers wont be able to drink.
I'd be up for meeting up. New years day there's a small pub meet at Hartley wintney, near hook each year. Hog roast etc.
I'm planning a road trip to Paris on NYE chum, heading down late afternoon so there in good time to soak up the atmosphere, then a late night run in the wee small hours back to Blighty before Dawn!
Chunnel = £44
Petrol = £130ish depending on how heavy footed I am.
No hotel as I'll be awake obviously! Plus, always wanted to go to Paris & what better time than NYE

Pete, if you mean the Phoenix Inn at Phoenix Green, I'll be there. I've only been for the last couple of years, but the place has been heaving both times, with cars parked on both sides of the A30 and on the hatched area at the start of the nearby dual carriageway. Well worth going because of the variety of vehicles that turn up.S7Paul said:
