I'm watching it, but I've seen it before. It's an absolutely ridiculous film, but I love it. biggrin

Where they filmed the opening sequence (when they blew up the tree line) - I was there, last week! biggrin

It was on the Hawaiian island of Kauai (Ben Stiller owns a hugh portion of land in the north of the island) and you can tell where they did all the explosions because the tops are still missing off the trees; all you've got is this 20 foot high trunck with bugger all on top hehe

Finally got around to watching this. I'm not the biggest Tom Cruise fan but his character (and especially his dance at the end) had me in stiches.

Having completed some routine discrimination/ harassment training at work, I brought this up with younger coworker who had never seen it. I felt it deserved a rewatch the light of our more sensitive times and... it still holds up. It will never be the best film in the world but it does make me wonder if Ben Stiller is actually underrated- it hit all of its beats, told a compelling story & had enough plot & comic scenes to get it through.

Plus Tom Cruise's best role.

Disney bought Star Wars for Billion & didn't do as well.

Good movie yeah. People (mostly) managed to understand what it was doing and be ok with it too, it seemed. The scene with Stiller running back over the bridge cracks me up every time.
