I might acquire some 3d glasses soon for my TV, but I'm not how much I'll use them as I don't have Sky 3d, but do watch the odd Bluray. I'm wondering whether the 3d feature on some of my games will be any good, and make the glasses purchase more worthwhile. I've never seen or played a game in 3d but I have Resistance 3 and GT5 which I think can both be played in 3d. Are they any good in 3d? does it add anything to the experience?

I am not sure I am following this. You have a 3D TV but no Glasses?

Yes, it's a Panasonic that requires active shutter glasses, but the model I bought doesn't come with them.

Ah right.

I've played GT5 in 3D and it is pretty good, but to be honest I got annoyed wearing the glasses on top of my normal glasses. I wouldn't buy a 3D TV myself for just that alone, but if you already have the TV and you can get the specs at a good price it might be worth it, after all its not gonna make it worse is it smile

Plus I think the PS3 can play 3d blu-rays as well.

I prefer passive 3D, glasses are much nicer but back on topic.
Any game that can be 3D on the PS3 I play in 3D. Really adds to the game, currently playing the latest ratchet and clank in 3D and a bit of Assassin's Creed on the side.
