My wife's car, 2007 RRS TDV6 seems to be giving us no end of problems, the latest seems to be with the electrics.

A year ago the alternator burnt out and was replaced along with the battery.

The latest issues seems to be when starting - it starts fine but if just left in park and engine is rev'ed, above say 2500 rpm, the sat nav screen seems to reboot, the park brake light flashes and error message comes up with park brake fault (this happens each time you rev the car). if left to idle, error messages clear, sat nav screen re-boots and everything is fine. On top of this the other morning i came out and the rear suspension had dropped to access height but the front suspension was fine - looked like it was a doing a wheelie?
My initial thoughts are battery and/or alternator again - could anyone comemnt if they think this is likely cause or if this is a known problem?

Thanks

First thought is obviously why would you sit in park revving a cold engine? But that aside it sounds like something is not right, but you need to get a fault mate on it! Same for the suspension really. Was the car parked on the level, or was it just trying to self level?

Car was parked level, have actually noticed a couple of times it is in access mode first thing in the morning and just assumed my wife had done that for ease. When i asked her she didn't even know it had access height so seems it is losing height when stationary for a prolonged period. The revving when cold is not me! Apparently she will often rev engine when cold to try to warm it up when frosty!!! I know, I know, but have given up trying to advise of the best way to treat a car!
