GT5 Champ -- Season 4

New 8 week champ championship to start Sunday 15th January for a 8 week run until 4th March.

Same rules as Champ 2/3 except as below:
New Rules:
2 races per week of equal distance/time.
Min race distance 60 miles (or 40 mins)- race has to last at least the 40 mins or laps increased.
Compulsory pit stop in each race. Can be completed on any lap apart from the last one.
2 Tyre compounds to be used per race -edit to reduce compound gap as one clear was to big a difference. Failure to comply will mean exclusion from that round. 3 failures and points deduction comes into play.
FULL DAMAGE for both races - reverse grid for 2nd race remains.
No corner cutting at all. Two wheels on track at all times - solid white at edge of track (not kerb) defines track. Certain tracks (SPA etc) penalties will be used on weak setting.
Slipstream on weak.
10 min qualifying session (or one quick lap of ring)
New Team Element:
4 teams of 4 drivers. Each team picks two combos for the champ. Combos back to 1 car 1 track. PLEASE NOTE: track selected must have a pit lane!
Best 2 scores per team count toward team champ.
Team captains decided by average scores from Champ 3 (see other thread) - new drivers added to pool of peddlers to be selected from.
Captains to provide me with both combos ASAP. Combos run in team order (team 1 race week 1, team 2 race week 2 etc).
As only 8 week champ - individual scores dropped will be 1 (the worst). No scores needed to be dropped from team as only 2 best competitors count.
Cars must be standard (No tuning) - its only 8 weeks so lets see how this goes - this means tuning prohibited will be on.
Edited to add that we will allow some mods so long as they are fixed, power hike ok but no full suspension etc.
Teams:
Team 1 - DrCooper (White), Goodwood (Green), Gtprm (Orange), Rex - White body shells
Team 2 - Vic, Tyres (Red), dice (Black), Ferry - Black body shells
Team 3 - Old G, billyruben, torque(grey), MSTRBKR - Red body shells
Team 4 - Ian, norbs, flip,
Reserve drivers will fill in for missing team mates.
Each team to provide team name and competition colour, where allowed, to FDDRL and FIA.
We have all had enough practice now so any cack driving will result in punishment by the FDDRL. You have be duly advised!!
NO driver aid (other than ABS) allowed - regardless of car!
False Starts will be on!
No weaving on straights only allowed to move once!
Grip levels will be set to real.
Must not cross pit entry and exit. failure is a penalty against.
Qualifying:
Room opens any time before 9pm, if set up in advance track to be set to different track, any time set before pit lane opens for qualifying will be discounted.
Pit lane opens at 9.00pm (strictly) and runs until 9.10. (If track more than 10 miles in length is used, qualifying will be 1 flying lap, but not set before pit lane opens).
Race automatically starts at 9.10. ** The only exceptions will be for multiple disconnections but this will be MY call!
In addition if anyone starts the race early by mistake there will be a penalty of -1 point.
NO GOING TO TRACK BEWTEEN RACES UNTIL RACE DIRECTION SAY SO.

Edited to add the 'yes' have it in the vote so standard cars it is for this season. Let's just see how it goes.
Start thinking about combos. It should be simple now all I need is the track, car and the two tyre compounds. Simples!
